Pastor Bo Johnson is the Senior Pastor of Living Word Church. Living Word Church was started in April 2004 to provide a place of love and acceptance in and around the community.
Bo has a heart to reach the lost, the unchurched and those who have reached a place of frustration and feel that the church is no longer relevant. Bo has been married to his wife, Khristie, for 20 years and has 4 children. Bo has served in many various roles since getting involved in ministry in 1994. His vision is to see a thriving, passionate, casual, Christ centered group of believers raised up to meet the needs of the people of the communities in Pinson, the surrounding areas, the state of Alabama, the USA and the entire world. He became involved with The Barnabas Foundation in 2008, when he joined them to go on his first of two missionary trips to Russia. While in Russia, he taught in the Barnabas Foundation's School of Ministry and ministered at local churches.
